This little app has helped me to survive high school German! It provides articles, common phrases, and plural forms of nouns. It is , in a nutshell, your one stop shop for the German Language.

HUGE offline translation dictionary is useful when traveling with no cellular data connection.

Got this app as part of the 3 pack. Works great, and as mentioned elsewhere, you can use it offline which is quite helpful. The voice features alone are worth the price of admission.

Many dictionary apps Ive tried has as large of a vocabulary as this one. There is rarely a word I look up that it doesnt have.

Ive been using Bitknights dictionaries for years (French, Spanish, German) and theyre great, the Apple Watch App takes more than 30 seconds at times making it useless. 5 stars once this is sped up, until then iTranslates app is faster and supports every language I care about. Also every language now uses the same blue icon making it a bit slower to find the Lang I want.

I love this app and have been using it for about a year now. My only concern is bug issues using the Google phrase translation portion of the app.

It has all the words youll need to get around in German. The translator function requires Internet access, but the rest can be accessed offline. Its worth the price.

I use this app constantly on my visits to Germany, and not only is the offline ability to use it crucially helpful, but also I appreciate the associated/variant uses of words (in phrases and contexts) with each definition. Sometimes, compound words are missing, because German as actually spoken is made up of so many compounds of other words - these cases are usually solved by searching for the constituent parts of the compounds. Great, super helpful app.

I have been using this dictionary for about four years. I find it to be easy to use and has been very helpful to me in many instances. It has updates that keep it on track with modern usage, but I can usually find more obscure words, too.

This app is fantastic as a reading companion to German web sites. Its easy to use, very fast and extremely handy to have. It does occasionally fail to find a word Im looking for but very seldom. It also usually provides context sentences, which are very helpful for words that carry multiple nuances.

Full of words and phrases that other dictionaries do not have. :) Pronunciations are good. :) No congregations. :( Id write more, but Im trying to study right now.

Purchased the dictionaries as a package with other languages which i thought was a good deal, but too many of the useful features need to be purchased at high prices. Otherwise a very good dictionary that my German friends say are mostly accurate.

I have the icon for this dictionary on the customizable bottom row of my iPad, since I use it all the time. Its accurate and easy to use, and even has voice pronunciation. I have other dictionaries, but this is the one I use. Highly recommended!

iOS 9 just killed my German Dictionary app. Is there a fix in the works?

It appears this app is incompatible with the latest iPhone update. I get a frozen screen with Hungarian (?) to English when I open it.

The app is frozen when launched after Ive upgraded to iOS 9. At launch screen it says English - Hungarian and wont display any dictionary content. PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM !!!

As a current study abroad student in Germany, this app has saved my bottom many times! It works offline too!

I have tried most of the dictionary apps. This is the best. That it works well offline makes it particularly useful for travel. I speak and read German at a B2 level. I use this app at least once a week.
