Used Pons before and changed because this has everything I need, incl voice

This is overall an excellent German-English dictionary. The operant word, however is "English" as opposed to American, and some translations require further translation! As an example, hetzen first translates as " to Chevy". For an Ami without legal training, a Chevy is an automobile, not a chronic annoyance.

This app is really helpful for quick translation as Im learning German!

I live in a German speaking region, learning the language as I integrate. I use this APP all the time. Quick, reliable, accurate. Love the ability to translate sentences as well as look up words.

I was a US Expat in Germany for 2 years, traveling to Switzerland often as well, and this was my go-to app daily. I still use it back in US, 1 year later. Highly recommend.

Really a great dictionary!! It beats Langenscheidts in the range it covers. I am always surprised at the words captured in this dictionary. Even when I read old high German books, I am still able to find most words in this dictionary. It compares with the best I have come across. Very commendable.

Fast and easy to use.

Long the best dictionary, the app finally lets one slow the speaking voice enough that those who are not native speakers (me) can understand the pronunciation. So I can finally give it the five stars it so richly deserves. Thank you.

This app is great, but support not so great. Bought German voice, got stuck on high speed so its useless. No responses to my emails requesting support. Uninstalled and reinstalled, now it doesnt show I paid for voice. Maybe this will get attention? I will change rating if so.

Used on my last visit to Germany and worked great for "on the street" word lookup. Very simple to use and comprehensive. Recommended!

Great dictionary!

Ive been using this for several years, and both the number and quality of definitions are excellent. I love how its all offline too. It is really irritating, though, how every time I open the app it cuts off my music if Im playing anything. The fact that I cant tap a word in a definition to go to see other translations of that word makes it difficult to make sure the word Ive got is the one Im looking for. If these two issues were fixed, this would be a five star app.
